Designed by Alexander Shard, the station operated by PRR, PC, NJDOT and NJT until August 23, 2013, when it closed and now repurposed into a store on the Princeton University Campus. The rail line, part of the 2.7 mile Priceton Dinky Shuttle to Princeton Junction Sation, was cut back at the insistence of Princeton University who wanted to build an arts building on the right-of-way. Despite protests, they got their way and the railroad was cut back 460 feet with a new station built.
