About Our Chapter
The public is welcome to the monthly (except December) chapter meetings, usually on the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm. Many meetings are online with the free Zoom software, but some are in person in Springdale, Ark. Check the most recent edition of the chapter newsletter (http://arkrailfan.com/newsletters) for details such as how to attend online, or the location of an upcoming in-person meeting.
Meetings typically start with a railroad history presentation, followed by a business meeting. In recent years, the Arkansas Boston-Mountains Chapter has sponsored a high school student to attend the summer NRHS RailCamp, and had an annual Christmas banquet while taking a leisurely ride in a parlor car on the Arkansas & Missouri Railroad.
