About Our Chapter

The Gulf Wind Chapter’s principal activity is historic preservation. Our chapter owns Florida’s oldest remaining train station, located near Tallahassee in the community of Lloyd, FL. The historic Lloyd Depot was build in 1858 and is a central part of the Lloyd Historic District.
