NRHS Arizona Old Pueblo Chapter

Old Pueblo

About Our Chapter

The Old Pueblo Chapter, NRHS, is an all-volunteer organization. Members support other Tucson railfan organizations, particularly The Southern Arizona Transportation Museum, located at Tucson’s Historic Depot, a division of Tucson’s Old Pueblo Trolley organization. The museum features historic Southern Pacific Locomotive No. 1673 open for static display, as well as displays, mementos and artifacts of Tucson’s history with the railroads. The Chapter’s monthly meetings consist of a variety of programs presented by the members, as well as videos of locations and lines of interest to us. We appear at regional railroad shows and sponsor occasional field trips and excursions such as the April 2010 meeting in Globe, AZ, enjoying the Copper Spike Train Excursion on the Arizona Eastern Railway, traveling between Globe and its many historic and current mines and the nearby Apache Gold Casino-Resort.
